Atualização do CPLD na instalação do Catalyst 9400 SVL
Introdução
Este documento descreve um procedimento passo a passo sobre como atualizar a versão do Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) em uma instalação do StackWise Virtual Link (SVL) do Catalyst 9400.
Pré-requisitos

A Cisco recomenda que você tenha conhecimento básico de instalação e configuração do Stackwise-Virtual no Catalyst 9400.

Problema
No Catalyst 9400, ao atualizar a versão do Cisco IOS® em alguns casos raros, a versão CPLD do dispositivo não é atualizada. O CPLD e a versão Rommon da versão específica podem ser verificados no link https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9400/software/release/17-13/release_notes/ol-17-13-9400/rommon_versions.html.

Nesse caso, o CPLD do standby não foi atualizado após o upgrade.
Procedimento de atualização
Etapa 1. Use o show redundacny para verificar se o SVL está funcionando bem.

Etapa 5. Nesse caso, se a versão CPLD do Switch Ativo precisar ser atualizada, siga estas etapas:
1. Do a switchover
9400-1#redundency force-switchover >>>>>>>>>>Initially Switch 1 is active and Switch 2 is standby.
After switchover it is vise-versa
2. Upgrade the CPLD version of previous active [now standby] with the command:
9400-1#upgrade hw-programmable cpld filename bootflash: switch 1 R0
3. Reload the the standby
9400-1#redundancy reload peer
